Last updated June 20, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information BellHome collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to your use of the BellHome website, applications, and services.

1. Information we collect

  • Account information: name, email address, phone number, and password (stored hashed by our authentication provider).
  • Property information: the address and details of your home, its systems, inspection findings, documents you upload, and maintenance history.
  • Payment information: processed by Stripe. We store a Stripe customer reference and payment records (amounts, status, dates); we do not store full card numbers.
  • Usage information: basic technical data such as log and device information used to operate and secure the Service.

  • To provide the Service: build your home model, calculate your Bellhome Score, schedule and record inspections, and maintain service history.
  • To process payments and manage your membership.
  • To communicate with you, including account, inspection, and billing notifications by email.
  • To secure, maintain, and improve the Service, and to comply with legal obligations.

3. How information is shared

We share information only as needed to run the Service: with the assigned inspector or vendor organization handling your inspection; with service providers that operate our infrastructure (including Supabase for our database and authentication, and Stripe for payments); and where required by law. We do not sell your personal information.

4. Data retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, then for the period required to meet legal, accounting, or reporting obligations. You may request deletion of your account as described below.

5. Your choices and rights

  • Access and correction: you can view and update much of your information from your account settings.
  • Deletion: you may request that we delete your account and associated personal data, subject to legal retention requirements.
  • Communications: account, inspection, and billing messages are part of the Service; where we send optional messages, you can opt out.

6. Security

We use technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including row-level access controls so each user sees only the data they are authorized to access, encrypted connections, and a least-privilege approach to administrative keys. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect your data.

7. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

8. Changes and contact
